Questions about the retreat?
FAQ
How do I get there?
Fly into Montreal airport and we’ll have someone pick you up. The cottage where we are doing the retreat is about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport.
When should I get there?
We recommend you arrange your flights to arrive October 3rd between 11am – 4pm to get your included travel from the airport to the retreat, as we are doing group pickups. Departing flights should be arranged between 11am – 4pm on October 7th. Please DO NOT book your flight until you have received confirmation from us that your registration is complete.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you are unsure and we will help you plan for the most ideal flight.
What should I bring?
Pack like you’re going to spend a weekend at the cottage. Opt for comfy over fancy! October in Canada is fresh to cold so make sure to have cozy sweaters, socks and maybe a rain jacket in case. Bring your favorite journal or book, water bottle and anything else you like to have with you on trips. Yoga props, towels and linens are provided at the retreat center.
What are the accomodations like?
You will be staying in big, beautiful cottage perched above a lake that is owned by my family, so it’s a very quiet, intimate space we will be in.
There are lots of safe areas to go for walks, a long dock that goes out onto the lake for lounging and reading and a wrap around deck on the house with view on the lake. We are far out in the woods so there is not much cell reception but there is wifi at the cottage.
We have a large studio space downstairs for yoga and wellness sessions and a big wood fireplace in the living room where you can rest, read and where we will gather for the workshops.
The peacefulness and autumn colours will inspire you to melt into your yin/feminine energy and go into deep contemplation.
What is the food like?
Fresh, homemade food will be prepared for us during the retreat. Meals will be balanced and healthy without feeling like you are eating greens during the entire retreat. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
There will be wine available for dinner time if you wish to have some. This is not a full health and detox retreat, but more of a time to turn inwards and nurture yourself in whatever way feels good to you. You are the boss of your body and know what it needs.
Snacks will be available in between meals.
